This month on the Crafty Awesomeness Challenge we are being sponsored by Sasayaki Glitter. The first image I’m using is of an adorable baby elephant with a birthday cake. It’s called Baby Elly’s Birthday. All these great stamps sell for under $3. What a deal!
I wanted to do the card in bright colors and chose this green paper with white polkadots from the “Birthday Blow Out” Paper Pack. This is from a 6×6 paper pad by My Favorite Things. They have quite a few great paper packs out now besides their solid color cardstock with matching inks.
The Pink Corner Tag was cut from a sheet of Birthday Paper from the 6×6 stack called “Birthday Wishes” and made by DCWV. The twine on the tag was from my stash. I also used my Copic Markers to color the image. The Happy Birthday and the Wonky Circle Dies are by Die-namics from My Favorite Things. The number 1 is made of chipboard. The Flowers and rhinestone were also from stash.
I hope you enjoy the card and please check out the wonderful digi stamps from Sasayaki Glitter.
Here it is the beginning of the month and time for the new Crafty Awesomeness Challenge. This month’s sponsor is “Cute As A Button,” which features the wonderful digital Stamps of the owner – Francesca Lopez.
With Easter just around the corner, I chose the image called “Bunny Egg,” #IMG00186. I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers and used the Die-namics Wonky Ovals to cute out the image. I believe the Fence is a “Do Hicky” Die Cut by Magnolia. The corner Dies are by Memory Box and called the “Snowflake Corner.” The cute papers are from an old Heidi Grace paper Stack called “Summer Showers.” I’m down to my last few pieces of paper and I’ve loved everyone of them!
I wanted to do something a little different, so my Easel Card turned into a sort of “Diorama.” LOL. The Grass, Bunnies and Eggs were in my stash and I believe they originally came from Joanns. The small paper eggs were cut with an old punch that I’ve had for years.
Come on over and join the fun! You could be a Winner!
CHALLENGES I’VE ENTERED:
This is my Design Team Post for The October “Crafty Awesomeness” Monthly Challenge. The adorable image is a digital one from Sasayaki Glitter “Midsummer night’s dream”, which I colored with Copic Markers. It’s available here. I thought it made a perfect Christmas Card.
I used a pre-made card base by Recollections from Michaels. All the patterned papers are from a Christmas Stack that I bought last year at Hobby Lobby and is called “Snow Day” by The Paper Studio.
The small letters are from the Bottle Cap Dies from Die-namics by My Favorite Things and the number and larger letter is by Momenta and was purchased at Hobby Lobby. The “Wonky” Ovals are also from MFT.
I also used my Corner Chomper and some Foam Adhesive Dots to pop my embellishments.
