Hello Ladies….

This card is for the “Crafty Awesomeness” May Challenge.  The featured artist this month is Digital Artist Rick St. Dennis. I chose this saucy lady called “Morning Goddess Edie.” I loved all the cats gathered around her feet and meowing for their breakfast! How many of you go through the name thing each morning?

I’ve colored the image with Copic Markers and dotted the background with a Gray Copic Marker and with White Opal Liquid Pearls. The Paper I used is from a stack called “Animal Prints” by America Crafts.  I had just picked it up on sale at a Beals Outlet and thought it would go perfect with the cats.

I used the Stitched Scalloped Oval Dies by Gina Marie and also the Bottle Cap Letters by Die-Namics by MFT.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you grab an image and play along with us this month.

Smile…!

If this big guy doesn’t make you smile…nothing will!  His name is “Ogre” and is another of Lisa’s “Quirky” Bloobel Digital Stamps.  I wanted him for a birthday card, but I couldn’t resist putting “Smile” on the front. Inside I’ll put – It’s Your Birthday!” That should work just fine.

I made the card following Sketch #4 on the Crafting Circle “Just For Fun” Wednesday Monthly Challenge. Come over and take a peek and join us for some fun.  I love following a sketch.

I’ve colored him with my Copic Markers and a few Prisma Pencils. I used Diamond Glaze by Judi-kins on his eyes and Wink Of Stella on the background of the oval. That’s hard to see in the photo, but trust me…it looks great in person.

I’ve used two dies by Die-namics from My Favorite Things.  The first is their Stitched Ovals and the second is their Scalloped and Stitched Rectangles. The Pattern Papers are also from a MFT stack called “Rainbow Stripes.” The sentiment was hand written. Other papers and the Embroidery Floss was from my scraps.

Thanks for dropping by.

Magic Among The Stars…

I’ve had this really cute image here for a while and I finally got to color it and get a card made. This is for a very special little girl who loves Unicorns! The image is by Janice Cullen Collyer of Scrapper’s Delights and is called “Ava Unicorn Pony.” This series of several different digital stamps can be found here.

I’ve colored the image with Prisma Pencils and Copic Markers. The stars are cut using an assortment of Star Dies made by “Die-namics” from My Favorite Things. I’ve also used Ranger “Stardust” Stickles on some of them and also around the Stitched Oval Die Cut, which is also by Die-namics. I topped it off with a little Rhinestone on her horn and more Stickles.

I made my card base from Heavy Duty Cardstock by “The Paper Studio” from Hobby Lobby and the Patterned background paper is from my scrap pile.
