“Eat More Ham”…

…Can’t you just hear him saying bleating that?  I sure can.  I really felt for him when I saw this image for the first time and just had to have it for a Thanks Giving card.  I have some very quirky friends who will love it.

I made this card for our current monthly “Just-For-Fun Challenge” at The Crafting Circle.  We always have some nice sketches to follow.

The image is a digital one by Boobel and is named “Turkey”. He is priced at only $1.50 right now. I’ve colored him with my Copic Markers, a few Prisma Colored Pencils, and I highlighted him with black and red Sakura Pens. I also used Color Box Chestnut Roan Ink to highlight the image. I fussy-cut and popped him with foam tabs, and I couldn’t resist giving him some Google Eyes.

The papers are from a Cloud 9 Stack called “Speciality Papers” and is quite old. It’s a great stack because it covers all 4 seasons.

The letters are cut from the Bottle Cap Letter Dies by Die-namics from My Favorite Things. The assorted Sequins, which come in several boxed color sets, are also from MFT. I also used 2 of my Spellbinders Nestabilities Square Dies because I can never get them all cut the same size! LOL.

scrappershopIt’s Blog Hop Time at Scrapper’s Delight. If you’ve reached us from here…you are in the right place. This week we are featuring the new Steampunk Images by Janice Cullen Collyer.  Make sure to take advantage of her generous coupon included below.

My image is called “Lady Constance” and can be found here…. I colored her with Copic Markers and used a White Gelly Roll Pen for highlights. I fussy-cut the images and stacked them with 3D Black Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives, which are available at Hobby Lobby. The printed paper is from a stack called “Accomplished” by Authentique. The clock and her lips are coated with Diamond Glaze by Judi Kins.
