Get Well…

This is my card for the Bugaboo Crafty Awesomeness Challenge at the Crafting Circle.con for August. This cute Digi Stamp is called “Clyde – Get Well,” and it’s one of the newer images available at Bugaboo Digital Stamps.  Make sure to check them out for their weekly sales and Friday Freebie image.

I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers and I’ve also used a few Prisma Colored Pencils for highlighting. To add a little sparkle, I’ve dotted the background with “Star Dust” Stickles by Ranger. The Buttons are made from a Die-namic Die by My Favorite Things.  The patterned paper was a remnant from my stash.  I used a Corner Rounder on the corners.

Good luck with your entry.

Tree Trimmer…

I’ve had this set of cute “Draco” images, which are done by Digital Artist Janice Cullen Colliers of Scrapper’s Delight, for several months now and when I saw it was her new “Friday Freebie,” I couldn’t resist using him on my next Christmas card. He’s “Christmas Draco 2” and will available for the entire month of Dec.

I should mention that he started out as a Christmas card, but the finished product turned out quite big so I plan to use him on the front of a gift bag.  Now I just have to find a white one…and I think I’ll also make a small matching gift tag.

This time I have colored the image with my Prisma Pencils.  Since I used a very thin computer paper to print the image on, I opted not to use the Gamsol with the pencils.  I think it’s the first image that I’ve ever colored this way and to be honest, I’m not sure if I like it or not.

The pattern papers are from a stack called “Snow Day” by “The Paper Studio” and is one that I bought last year at Hobby Lobby.  I still love this red and turquoise color combination. I used a Corner Die by Die-namics from My Favorite Things, and the Letter Dies are by ART-C and have matching stamps.

Ladies and Gentlemen….

It’s Friday and we have a new Freebie Friday Progressive Challenge Image for you from Janice Cullen Collyer of Scrapper’s Delights. This is also from her Circus set. The image is a choice of “Word Art” to be used with her Circus Images.

I chose “Ladies And Gentlemen” to go with my Ringmaster image.  My image is colored with Copic Markers and placed against a background made from an assortment of papers and images cut from the “Le Cirque” Paper Stack by Graphic 45.

I have highlighted her hat band and some of her clothes with Ranger “Star Dust” Stickles, and I also used Zig’s “Wink of Stella” Clear Glitter Pen and Silver Glitter Pen.

Tipsey-Tervy Time….

Here’s the new Freebie Friday Progressive Challenge image by digital artist Janice Cullen Collyer of Scrapper’s Delights. This adorable image is called “Tipsey-Tervy” and is part of a new collection that Janice has done on the Circus. Check it out and you’ll find some great images that will take you back to your childhood days spent under the Big Top.

I’ve colored the digital image with my Copic Markers. I combined images from several sheets of pattern papers, but they are all from “The Great Circus Company” by The Paper Studio from Hobby Lobby.

The small letters are from a Die-namics Die Set by My Favorite Things and the larger letters are from a Die Set by ART ©, also bought at Hobby Lobby. The set comes with matching letter stamps.

Don’t miss out on all the fun. Join us and lets see your rendition of this cute image.

Hugs And Kisses….

Isn’t she just the cutest little girl? You can get her if you hop on over to Scrapper’s Delights and grab your copy of Sakura – 1.  She’s the next free image in Janice Cullen Collyer’s Freebie Friday Progressive Challenge.

I love the idea that she can be used for so many occasions, although the “Heart” certainly speaks to me of “Love!” How would you choose to use her?

I used my Copic Markers to color the image and highlighted her shoes with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen. I cut her out and placed her against this sheet of Valentine paper from K & Company.  I loved this entire stack, but sadly I only have a few sheets left.  The Twine is from Making Memories.

This is the current image for the Progressive Challenge… grab yours and come join us 🙂
