I had a few minutes today and thought I give it a go at coloring this “Dearie Dolls” digi image. When I looked at them I wondered if they were looking for the “perfect pumpkin” to make their pie? LOL.
I colored them with my Copic Markers and also used a few of my Prisma Colored Pencils and a White Pen.
I made the card base out of Kraft Paper from My Favorite Things and my Gold Paper is also from them. The die I used for the Corners came from My Paper World, which is an Australian Co.
The assorted Sequins are also from My Favorite Things. The Fence Punch is by Martha Steward and is several years old.
Thanks for stopping by.
This is another card I made using this great image from Bugaboo Digital Stamps called “Ruby Calendar Month – Thanksgiving.” It’s another one of my Thanksgiving cards for this year.
This is also my #2 Sketch Card for MsWipz’s monthly “Just For Fun” Challenge that you can find here. I’ve done several cards with this Bugaboo image and find that it works great for any big Holiday.
I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers and dotted areas with Ranger Stardust Stickles. I’ve also used Diamond Glaze by Judi Kins on the Glasses and on the Pie Plate. I used small Rhinestones from my stash for her Earrings and her Ring.
The Leaf is a punch, but it didn’t show a company name. The Knife and Fork are from a Die-cut set by Paper Smooches. (There is also a spoon included.) The Twine was in my stash.
The Papers are scraps from other cards I made this year.
Thanks for looking, Dee
For the November Crafty Awesomeness Challenge, I made this cute Thanksgiving Card using a Bugaboo Digital Stamp called Ruby Calendar Month – Thanksgiving, and I’ve colored her with Copic Markers. I’ve also used a little Diamond Glaze on the pie plate and her glasses.
The Corner Dies are a set from “My Paper World.” The papers are from a “Cloud 9 Paper Stack” called “Speciality Papers” and the Kraft Base Paper is from MFT. The Egg Corns are from my yard.
The “Happy Thanksgiving” stamp is from MFT and was part of a Pure Innocence” Stamp Set, but I think it’s been retired.
CHALLENGES I’VE ENTERED:
This darling image is called the “Hawaiian Mermaid” and is by digital artist Francesca Lopez. This image is the latest for her Progressional Challenge at her “CUTE AS A BUTTON” site.
I had originally wanted to make her a “puzzle” card, but I cut the image out and couldn’t do that. I went ahead and built the card inside of the “Shaker Dome” anyway, which you can get from our own Samantha, AKA MsWipz, on Ebay. The Domes are a joy to work with.
The image is colored with my Copic Markers and surrounded by an assortment of Dies. I used the following: Happy Birthday and Music Notes are by Die-namics from My Favorite Things; the Magical Castle and Seaweed are by Gina Marie Dies. I also used a Circle Nestability Die by Spellbinders.
I topped the card with a layer of white paper, which I embossed with an Embossing Folder called “Tide.” This folder was made by Memory Maker’s “Life Time” Crafts. I finished it off by wrapping the Dome with Twine, which was also made by Memory Makers. I don’t know the name of the “Sand-looking” paper, but the blue background paper is by Sandy Lion. The Gold Paper is from My Favorite Things. I also used a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen.
Isn’t she just the cutest little girl? You can get her if you hop on over to Scrapper’s Delights and grab your copy of Sakura – 1. She’s the next free image in Janice Cullen Collyer’s Freebie Friday Progressive Challenge.
I love the idea that she can be used for so many occasions, although the “Heart” certainly speaks to me of “Love!” How would you choose to use her?
I used my Copic Markers to color the image and highlighted her shoes with a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Pen. I cut her out and placed her against this sheet of Valentine paper from K & Company. I loved this entire stack, but sadly I only have a few sheets left. The Twine is from Making Memories.
This is the current image for the Progressive Challenge… grab yours and come join us 🙂
