White on White….

You can’t get any simpler than that.  I did this card for the Challenge at “The Crafting Circle,” which is a JFF (just for fun) monthly challenge that we’ve been doing since it was on the Old Cricut Boards.

The only specification was that the card would be white on white. I would normally include a sentiment either stamped or printed in black on the card, but this time I used the “hi” Die from Die-Namics and stacked it 3-layers high. The Honeycomb Die is also from Die-Namics. I also dry embossed the second layer using the Cuttlebug “Swiss Dots” embossing folder. I can easily add more to the sentiment at a later time.

It’s Time…

for the new Freebie Friday Progressive Challenge at Scrappers Delight. This time we have an image from Janice Cullen Collyer’s new Steampunk Series.  Please join us here.

My images are colored with “Prisma Premium Colored Pencils,” and I’ve used “Color Box Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink” to age the dry embossing folder. The Clock folder is made by “The Paper Studio” from Hobby Lobby. I’ve fussy-cut the images and double-stacked them with black 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives, also found at Hobby Lobby. The letters are a “Die-Namics” die from My Favorite Things online store. The patterned paper is from the “Accomplished” stack by Authentique.

Feel Better Soon….

Isn’t this the most adorable image to use on a get well card?  It’s by digital artist Sandra Caldwell.  It can be found at her Itsy Shop called Baby Cakes and Design, and it’s image #95. I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils.  The flowers are by Recollections. The papers were all from my scrap box. The Corner, Fish Tail and Wonky Circle Dies are all by Die-Namics from My Favorite Things. The Buttons are from Joanns and I used some red crocheting thread.

Super Hero…

…is the new Friday Freebie Progressive Challenge Stamp by digital artist Janice Cullen Coyller.  What a wonderful “boy” card this makes. It’s just perfect for those young boy dreams of flying into space on their own spaceship.  This image is called Super Hero 1 and can be requested in the group in the freebie post.

I colored him with Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils.  I used the Darice Cloud embossing folder and Star Dies by Die-Namics.  The patterned papers are from a older stack by K&Company called “Day Dreams,” and I also cut the Rockets from one of the pages. I used Ranger Sickles in Black, Red and Yellow and Wink of Stella in Silver.
