Happy New Year everyone. I’ve been very show at getting back in the crafting mood, but this special card request did it.
I had a request for a birthday card for someone whom loves to clean. Here’s what I did. I chose an image I had from digital artist Janice Cullen Collyer and you can find the image here.
The image is colored with my Copic Markers and I used Sharpie to hand write the sentiment. The Happy Birthday is made with a MY Favorite Things Die-Namic Die.
If it’s July in America then it’s time to wear your Red, White and Blue and help celebrate the 4th of July!
For this month’s Crafty Awesomeness Challenge, I’ve chosen to use this digi by Scrapper’s Delight called “Lady Constance.” (It was also the pick for their Progressive Challenge on their FB page.)
I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers and outlined some part of it with a white Prisma Pencil so it would stand out agains the dark background. The patterned paper is a scrap of double-sided paper called “Liberty Fireworks” by Bo Bunny, that I thought went great with the 4th of July theme. The stickers are by “Life’s Little Occasions” and originally came from Joanns.
Thanks you for stopping by.
Hello again. This is my card for the May Progressive Challenge for Scrapper’s Delight. The cute image of the little girl with her “Lolly” is by digital artists Janice Cullen Collyer and is still available on her site for free until the first week in June. At that time a new image will be out and available if you have completed this one.
I’ve colored the image with Copic Markers and added some pattern paper from my scraps, a few flowers and matching buttons from my stash. My goal was to make a “Clean and Simple Card” and I think this fits the bill.
Thanks for stopping by.
This is my newest card. It was made with a free digi called “Rainy Days” which was offered for the Scrapper’s Delight April Progressive Challenge. I sure wish we had some puddles down here. It’s hot and dry as can be. I don’t think we’ve had any April Showers this year!
I colored the image with my Copic Markers and the Sentiment is computer printed. I’ve used a sheet of Pattern Paper from the MFT paper stack called “Plaid Patterns.” I used my Martha Stewart Score Board to score the bottom inch of the card and finished that off with rounded corners and a bit of blue and white Twine from my stash. The Blue Sequins are also from My Favorite Things.
I then used a Hexagon Die from Gina Marie which I traced around and hand-cut out.
I’m very pleased with how this card came out, especially since I wasn’t happy with my choice of colors. I love it when a card has such an unexpected “Happy Ending.”
The image is called “Penguin Willie Snow Day” and is by digital artist Janice Cullen Collyer and is on sale right now. She has a really cute choice of Penguin images that are perfect for winter or Christmas Cards. You can find her images at the Scrapper’s Delight Digi Store.
The pattern paper was a scrap from a Disney Paper Pack from last year called “Disney All Seasons Mega Pad.” It covers all the holidays through-out the year and uses some very interesting color combos.
The dies I used are Wonky Ovals, Icicles, and Merry Christmas, which are all Die-namics by My Favorite Things. I covered the Icicle border with Zig “Wink of Stella” Clear Brush Glitter Pen, and I also dabbed some Ranger “Stardust Stickles” on the snowflakes. I dotted the image and card with white watercolor paint to make it look like falling snow.
