This is my card for the Bugaboo Crafty Awesomeness Challenge at the Crafting Circle.con for August. This cute Digi Stamp is called “Clyde – Get Well,” and it’s one of the newer images available at Bugaboo Digital Stamps. Make sure to check them out for their weekly sales and Friday Freebie image.
I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers and I’ve also used a few Prisma Colored Pencils for highlighting. To add a little sparkle, I’ve dotted the background with “Star Dust” Stickles by Ranger. The Buttons are made from a Die-namic Die by My Favorite Things. The patterned paper was a remnant from my stash. I used a Corner Rounder on the corners.
Good luck with your entry.
Our Crafty Awesomeness Challenge this month uses one of the awesome Bundles from Bugaboo Digital Stamps. These great “Stick Figures” can be used for so many things.
I’ve finished two of the set here and will add others during the month. These are all concerning being “Earth Friendly” and will eventually end up being a set of cards that I will be sending to a friend who is a great advocate of Recycling, Planting Plants and Trees and generally making the Earth a better place for our children and grandchildren.
These images are colored with my Copic Markers and tied with Twine from my stash. I also used my Martha Stewart Score Board to make some lines along the bottom of the card. I used the Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper on the bottom corners of the card. The Cloud and Letters are Die-Namics by My Favorite Things.
My second card for the Crafty Awesomeness Challenge reminds me that the warm weather is already here in my area and the wild flowers are blooming. This cute Sasayaki Glitter Digital Stamp is called “Heart Ant.”
I chose to do a very simple card this time, which I’ve colored with my Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils. I made the card base from a white heavy-duty Cardstock from Hobby Lobby and rounded the corners with my Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper. I finished it by adding a few embossed lines at the bottom with my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and tying some Twine around the top to finish it off.
Come and join us and have some fun!
It’s time again for our monthly Bugaboo Crafty Challenge at Crafting Circle. This time I thought I’d try something other than my usual card. I have a very dear friend who fought the “Pink Battle” and won and since she’s also an avid reader, up popped the idea of making her a “Bookmark.”
The image I used is “Pink Ribbon Gals – Vivian.” I used a heavy white cardstock from Hobby Lobby and a scrap of pink paper that was sitting on my desk. I used my Crop-A-Dile Corner Rounder and a generic Hole Punch. The white and pink ribbon is from my stash but originally both are from Joanns.
I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers. The Dress has been colored twice and popped with Foam Dots and the Ruffled was done three times. I plan to buy some small magnets to put inside, which I’ll then cover with a pattern paper. The Bookmark will open and close over the page to keep your spot.
The sentiment comes with the stamp set.
I’ve had this “A Day For Daisies” image for quite awhile and I thought I’d color it up in one of my very favorite color combos…pink and green.
I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers. All the pattern paper is from a stack by My Favorite Things called “Tiny Check Brights” 6×6 Paper Pack. The Happy Birthday sentiment is stamped with MFT’s coordinating ink called Razzle Berry.
Thanks for stopping by.
