This card was made following a sketch from The Crafting Circle Monthly Blog. The image used on the card is one issued by Bloobel for their May Progressive Challenge. The image is called “Fairy Pig.”
I colored the image with my Copic Markers and Prisma Pencils. I used Spellbinder Scalloped Circle Dies and Rectangle Dies. The Happy Birthday is a new die I just bought by Die-Namics from My Favorite Things. The Type was computer set.
Thanks for stopping by.
This card is for the “Crafty Awesomeness” May Challenge. The featured artist this month is Digital Artist Rick St. Dennis. I chose this saucy lady called “Morning Goddess Edie.” I loved all the cats gathered around her feet and meowing for their breakfast! How many of you go through the name thing each morning?
I’ve colored the image with Copic Markers and dotted the background with a Gray Copic Marker and with White Opal Liquid Pearls. The Paper I used is from a stack called “Animal Prints” by America Crafts. I had just picked it up on sale at a Beals Outlet and thought it would go perfect with the cats.
I used the Stitched Scalloped Oval Dies by Gina Marie and also the Bottle Cap Letters by Die-Namics by MFT.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you grab an image and play along with us this month.
You guys all know how I love these Bugaboo Digi “Older” characters. Well, this one was perfect for a friend of mine who can no longer “Hop” around with the grandkids. (I also know that feeling!)
This image is called “Stella Tid-Bits – Old Bunnies.” I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers to match the colors in the pattern paper. The paper is from The Disney “All Seasons Mega Pad,” which has turned out to be my favorite and most versatile paper pad that I’ve ever purchased.
The Die is a Die-Namics by My Favorite Things and another item that is turning out to be a “go-to” favorite of mine called the “Stitched Rectangle Scalloped Edge.” I’ve made some dots in the background using a Copic Pen and Ranger “White Opal” Liquid Pearls.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you grab a Bugaboo Digi and join the monthly Bugaboo Crafty Challenge sponsored by Bugaboostamps over at Craftingcircle.com.
It’s time again for our monthly “Bugaboo Challenge” at The Crafting Circle. I chose this image because it’s a little different from what I usually do, which is one of her “funky” older gals or guys. This little guy is called “Riding A Bike,” and I loved the message that came with him.
He’s colored with my Copic Markers, and I used a Sukura Micron Black Pen to add the road and stones. I don’t usually color in the complete background, but since it’s something I learned while taking a class at Kit and Clouder, I thought I’d give it a try. I like how it came out and I’m sure I’ll do it again. Maybe next time it will a different medium.
The Clouds and Sun are Die-Namics from My Favorite Things. The Twine is from Hobby Lobby. The Peace Charm on the front of his bike is by Darice.
Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to check out the Bugaboo Digi Stamp site. She keeps adding new stamps each week and these and others are often on sale. She also has a great selection of $1 stamps.
I’m doing a second Bugaboo project for our monthly Bugaboo Crafty Challenge and this one is WAY out of my comfort zone! It’s a Coloring Page, which turned into quite a challenge for me. It can be found here.
I planned to use one of my favorite Copic color combos…black, yellow, and gray, but it turned out that I needed to add another color to the mix. I chose a pretty turquoise to compliment the other colors. I’ve also used lots of Wink-Of-Stella Clear or Black Glitter Brush Pens on the image, but it’s hard to see in the photo. I’ve added a rhinestone to the center of each of the flowers and I think it really makes them pop.
I was so pleased with how this came out that I added the date to the front and now plan to use it as a Journal Cover.
