Here it is the beginning of the month and time for the new Crafty Awesomeness Challenge. This month’s sponsor is “Cute As A Button,” which features the wonderful digital Stamps of the owner – Francesca Lopez.
With Easter just around the corner, I chose the image called “Bunny Egg,” #IMG00186. I’ve colored her with my Copic Markers and used the Die-namics Wonky Ovals to cute out the image. I believe the Fence is a “Do Hicky” Die Cut by Magnolia. The corner Dies are by Memory Box and called the “Snowflake Corner.” The cute papers are from an old Heidi Grace paper Stack called “Summer Showers.” I’m down to my last few pieces of paper and I’ve loved everyone of them!
I wanted to do something a little different, so my Easel Card turned into a sort of “Diorama.” LOL. The Grass, Bunnies and Eggs were in my stash and I believe they originally came from Joanns. The small paper eggs were cut with an old punch that I’ve had for years.
Come on over and join the fun! You could be a Winner!
CHALLENGES I’VE ENTERED:
This is my July DT Card for the “Crafty Awesomeness Challenge” at the Crafting Circle. This adorable image is by the very talented artist, Francesca Lopez, owner of Cute As A Button Designs and is called Lego Queen. It was the perfect image for me to work with having recently returned from a visit to “Lego Land.” Our family has always loved Legos, except when you step on them barefooted. Ouch!
I decided to make a birthday card from my image. The card base is made with “The Paper Studio” Heavy Duty Cardstock bought at Hobby Lobby. The holographic background paper is from a D.C.W.V Paper Stack called, “The Birthday Wishes Stack.” The Balloons, Letters, and Words are cut from “Die-Namics” Dies by My Favorite Things.
I’ve colored my image with Copic Markers and a few Prisma Premium Colored Pencils. The solid colored papers are by Recollections from Michaels and the Embroidery Threads were in my stash and mainly from Joann Stores.
Please come and have some fun with us.
This is the wonderful Freebie Friday image for April 29th from digital artist Janice Cullen Collyer at Scrapper’s Delight. Isn’t he “Bee-U-Tiful?” Come join in the fun with this Progressive Challenge.
He was colored with Copic Markers and I used a Wink of Stella Brush Clear Glitter Pen on his wings. The “honey” is made with the Martha Stewart “Gooey” Punch. I used the Cuttlebug “Honey Comb” Embossing Folder and the Honey Comb Dies by Die-Namics. The ribbon and button were in my stash.
