Under the Sea….

Our Crafty Awesomeness Challenge for June is to make a “Shaker Card” and to use our “Gina Marie” Dies.  This was a no brainer for me, as I have plenty of her Beach and Sea oriented dies.

I cut my dies using white paper and colored them using my Copic Markers and a few Prisma Colored Pencils. The plastic Domes are available from here.  The sparkling beads used were a type of “Christmas Ice” bought at Hobby Lobby.  (I’m always picking up things that I think will look cool in a shaker card so I have them when needed.)

The circle background paper was an old scrap, but the wood-pattern paper was from a Glitz 6×6 Paper Pad called “Dapper Dan.”

The Shark Sticker was another dip into sticker notebook that I’ve had for years and years.  I’m determined to make use of as many as I can on my future cards!

I hope you can join us and maybe you’ll be the winner. The challenge runs through the end of June.

Thanks for stopping by.

Glittering Santa

I’m really getting caught up in the Christmas In July card making.  This cute image is named “Glittering Glass Santa” and is by Marcella Hawley artist and owner of Power Poppy. It is my card for the August “Crafty Awesomeness Challenge.”

I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers. The background paper is from a stack by “The Paper Studio” from Hobby Lobby and is called “Snow Day.” The red paper ribbon is from Joanns.
