Here is my card made from Sketch #1 of the Monthly Crafting Circle “Just for Fun Blog.” It’s fun to follow the sketches and whatever else they “THROW” at us…like their way out there extra credits!
And speaking of those extra credits, my card also incorporates some of them from this month such as: using Vellum, Fabric, and a Hand-colored image.
I used a 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 white pre-made card base and envelope set from JoAnn Craft Essentials. The Pattern Paper is from a new BoBunny 6 x 6 Paper Stack from Hobby Lobby called “Altitude.”
The digital image is a Mo Manning one called “Chill,” which I’ve colored with my Copic Markers. The image is cut with a rectangle Spellbinders “Nestability Die” and backed with papers from my scraps box. The layers were then put on part of a Gauze Bandage to add to the snowy look.
The Snow Flakes are cut from a Die Set by “Die-namics” from MY Favorite Things and were cut out of a heavy vellum that I bought one time at “Tuesday Morning” and never used. It’s got some great “bright” colors in the package that I’ll be sure to use on Christmas Flowers.
I have dotted the centers of the Snowflakes and parts of the background with “Rhinestones” by Gemstones from Hobby Lobby.
Thanks for looking, Dee
