Glittering Santa

I’m really getting caught up in the Christmas In July card making.  This cute image is named “Glittering Glass Santa” and is by Marcella Hawley artist and owner of Power Poppy. It is my card for the August “Crafty Awesomeness Challenge.”

I’ve colored the image with my Copic Markers. The background paper is from a stack by “The Paper Studio” from Hobby Lobby and is called “Snow Day.” The red paper ribbon is from Joanns.

please forgive my tardy comment. I was ill all last month and am just now getting around to the blogs to leave comments from our previous challenge. I didn’t want you to think no one noticed your wonderful entry.

thank you so much for joining our challenge over at The Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge Extra Blog! 🙂

  • Lovely Christmas card! I would love receiving a card like this. Not overdone, just right. Thank you for joining us at Winter Wonderland challenge. Mary DT x

I love the traditional Santa you have used here. We used to have a glass tree ornament that looked just like him about 50 years ago. Perfect colouring and love the stripes that make him really stand out. Unfortunately you haven’t followed the theme at Winter Wonderland (Christmas blog challenge), but I do love your card 🙂

  • A lovely looking card. I love the image and all, but I am having a bit of trouble seeing the gold/silver or embossed background that we need you to use in this Winter Wonderland Challenge. You also need to link back to our challenge at the Winter Wonderland. But your card is lovely.
