“Eat More Ham”…

…Can’t you just hear him saying bleating that?  I sure can.  I really felt for him when I saw this image for the first time and just had to have it for a Thanks Giving card.  I have some very quirky friends who will love it.

I made this card for our current monthly “Just-For-Fun Challenge” at The Crafting Circle.  We always have some nice sketches to follow.

The image is a digital one by Boobel and is named “Turkey”. He is priced at only $1.50 right now. I’ve colored him with my Copic Markers, a few Prisma Colored Pencils, and I highlighted him with black and red Sakura Pens. I also used Color Box Chestnut Roan Ink to highlight the image. I fussy-cut and popped him with foam tabs, and I couldn’t resist giving him some Google Eyes.

The papers are from a Cloud 9 Stack called “Speciality Papers” and is quite old. It’s a great stack because it covers all 4 seasons.

The letters are cut from the Bottle Cap Letter Dies by Die-namics from My Favorite Things. The assorted Sequins, which come in several boxed color sets, are also from MFT. I also used 2 of my Spellbinders Nestabilities Square Dies because I can never get them all cut the same size! LOL.

A Hug 4 – U

This is my Design Team Post for The October “Crafty Awesomeness” Monthly Challenge. The adorable image is a digital one from Sasayaki Glitter “Midsummer night’s dream”, which I colored with Copic Markers.  It’s available here. I thought it made a perfect Christmas Card.

I used a  pre-made card base by Recollections from Michaels. All the patterned papers are from a Christmas Stack that I bought last year at Hobby Lobby and is called “Snow Day” by The Paper Studio.

The small letters are from the Bottle Cap Dies from Die-namics by My Favorite Things and the number and larger letter is by Momenta and was purchased at Hobby Lobby.  The “Wonky” Ovals are also from MFT.

I also used my Corner Chomper and some Foam Adhesive Dots to pop my embellishments.
